Thanks for understanding.

BOO!

We have been talking lots about Halloween here at our house and it's so fun to see how excited Owen is getting about it. I made Owen a trick-or-treat bag and when I gave it to him I was explaining how the trick-or-treat thing works because I was sure he didn't really remember from last year. So after talking about it I thought it would be fun to practice a bit. So I went into the pantry and shut the door and had Owen knock on it and when I opened it up he would say trick-or-treat. This went over very very well. So well that Owen ended up in the pantry and had me knocking on the door saying trick-or-treat and then he would find something to give to me. I think we will be professionals by the 31st!

Awesome cookies I made for a little party Mike had at work. It was fun to go and meet with some other wives and put faces with Mike's classmates.

Cute bag for Owen.

Inside too!

This is Claire, also known as Owen's new girlfriend. We went to the fair with the Bernard's family and had a blast. Thank you guys for a great time.

Going on a cool ride.

The famous fair slide that we have to go down whenever we go to the fair. I went up to try to take Owen down because it's the best thing that ever happened to the fair, but when I got up to the ticket guy he said, "Ma'am, I don't mean to offend you or anything but are you pregnant?" I said, "maybe". And then he told me that I couldn't go down :(. My favorite ride too. All well there is always next year.

Owen and Mike enjoying the slide.

Owen after getting done with the slide! He LOVED it.

Owen took this picture and I thought he did a really good job. Mike and his "super" cape on.

On Sunday while I was sewing some projects Owen came in because he likes to help. He noticed all the fabric and was playing with it and then he wanted me to tie it around his neck so he could be a super hero. So then he got me and Mike to be super too. So the is our Super Family picture.

22 weeks!

Refueling

Mike got to learn how to refuel the F-16 in the air yesterday. It ended up being such a long long day for him. When he got home everyone was already in bed.
I think it's pretty amazing the whole refueling in the air.

We LOVE Banana Bread

This morning Owen helped me make some much needed banana bread. It turned out delicious like always. And you can tell that Owen thought it was yummy too!

Yesterday I got the opportunity to sit and watch one of the best drumming concerts ever. Maybe one day you will be as lucky as I was.

Hi

We have been having a great time here in Arizona. I was driving down the street the other day and it hit me that Arizona is really starting to feel like home. I'm starting to feel like I can go places and not get lost. The weather is really starting to get nice here too. We have been getting up in the mid 80's during the days and the nights are just heavenly now. But this weekend it's suppose to get back up into the high 90's! I hope that this will be the last heat spell we have for a while.
Lets start with Mike. Mike is REALLY enjoying his job right now. He is now flying solo in the F-16 which makes him one happy camper. I still remember when we first got married and this whole Air Force thing was still really new to me and he needed to go down to Hill AFB to get something there. He had me come along to show me around on base and get me familiar with military life. We were headed to the commissary (base grocery store) and just like in the movies out walks these 3 pilots. I swear that time stood still right then, nothing was moving except these wonderful and glorious pilots. I looked over at Mike and he just sat there staring at what will hopefully be his future, (because we still didn't know yet if he had made it into the pilot's program). These pilots walked passed us just smiling away and that's when I knew how truly important this was for Mike. And now here we are about 5 years later at Luke AFB living his life long dream. Man I'm so proud of this kid.
Okay back to Mike. He had his first check ride (it's like a big test on his flying) last week and passed! And he has had lots and lots of other book tests in there and has done good there as well. Work keeps his super busy. He has to study a lot, work out (to help with pulling G's), and make time in there to spend with his family. He always amazes me how he can pull off all of this and still be so happy and positive all of the time.
Owen has always and will always be my little best friend. I was thinking back on this week and I am proud to say that we had such a wonderful week. He has helped me out so much with stuff and he is always there to make me happy.
Lately he has really been into books. He has taken most of his books off of his shelves and put them in the office which he is now calling his library. Now he is starting to take books everywhere with him around the house. He'll wake up in the morning and out he comes with a book right up in his face.
One thing that I love the most is that he is starting to include Sissy into things now. If I'm eating something he will ask if baby likes it too. Yesterday as I was laying down he came over and lifted up my shirt and stuck his head down on my stomach. It was so stinking cute. I know he is going to make one great big brother.
I'm am starting to feel normal again! I have started to cook again too which makes two boys very happy. I have started on a cute quilt for Sissy that I can't wait to see all done up. And I think I'm going to try and make her whole bedding set and hopefully her blessing dress.
I'm really looking forward to meeting her. This morning while I was getting ready to get out of bed I was feeling Sissy move around and around down there so I lifted up my shirt to see if she has gotten strong enough to see from the outside and she has. I love this part where you can watch your stomach make movements on it's own.
Owen and I are getting really excited to make our journey up to Utah the end of this month. I am attempting driving all the way too! My sweet little nephew will be getting baptized so I didn't want to miss this important event while we are so close.

And now some random pictures that have been in the camera waiting to show off to the Grandparent's.

Loving playing with Daddy's socks.

My sticker boys.

This was such a fun morning with Owen. I was doing something and he came running up to me saying that he wanted a rocket ship. So with my awesome paper skills I made a rocket ship. But he wanted it strapped to his body so he could fly to the moon! So we had a great time playing on the moon.

And the 20 week picture. Half way there!!!
